§18 Lots will be drawn in order to split the submissions into groups, except the previous year's top 3 placings and any other submissions that have received a white card according to §25.

§19 Participants must upload a trailer until a defined date and pass its link on to the organizer. The trailer must be made according to all rules, especially general and advertising rules. Any disregard will lead to proper fines (see §32-39).

§20 Voting is to take place according to the voting rules, and is to be done separately for each group.

§21 Group winners are qualified for the finals. Depending on the number of groups, the second and third places might also get qualified.

§22 In case of a draw within a group, both submissions will be qualified as long as they do not violate rules §19 and §21.

§23 Qualifying will be skipped in case of 12 or less submissions.
